Green Hell is one of the most ambitious survival RPG games I’ve seen so far. You have to be pixel perfect for interacting with objects.Overcomplicated or needlessly drawn-out recipes. ![]() Has a horror/physiological horror feel to it.Hacking a tree will get a bit of wood but then hit that wood to make large sticks then hit again to make small sticks, it’s like that with a lot of materials you gather. Materials-a lot more in-depth than other games.Sanity-actions will increase and decrease your sanity which if too high will cause hallucinations.Notebook-fills in with key facts and recipes as you find them.Inspection-you can select four parts of your body and move that part around to look for injuries but also treat the injury.Crafting can be done anywhere and is a case of grabbing and placing items onto a crating spot.Click it to change to time and to a compass. Watch-shows all your vitals like health/stamina/food etc.Bag-you see your actual bag and can move items around it to make more space.Radio to talk to other people, you unlock and use multiple choice interactions and commands. You can read it as is or click it for a text box. Notes give stories and background knowledge. The crafting is more in-depth with more layers to basic crafting. All difficulties, tourists, and custom options are available for both story and survival modes.Challenges-seven set challenges to complete. ![]() Tourist mode-no predators or depletion and is for doing exploration and the story.Hazard options-tribes, predators, arachnids, leeches, snakes and piranhas, and stingrays. Custom difficulty options-combat difficulty, nutrients depletion, permadeath, sanity, tiredness, health loss.Four difficulties- a walk in the park, welcome to the jungle, King of the jungle, and Green hell.3 modes-Story, survival, and challenges.Toggle settings for crouch, run, and watch.Game settings-subtitles, crosshair, and hints. How long can you survive against the dangers of the unknown. Clinging to life, the player is set on a journey of durability as the effects of solitude wear heavy not only on the body but also the mind. ![]() You are left alone in the jungle without any food or equipment, trying to survive and find your way out.
